Where to Stay in Split: Hotel Luxe

Split is the second largest city in  Croatia and a must-see if you’re heading to the Balkans. It’s home to crystal clear waters, endless amazing beaches, and most famous of all: Diocletian’s Palace. Half of the old town is settled amongst the ruins of this ancient Roman Palace and it’s incredible to see the mix of old and new.

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Split, Hotel Luxe is a gorgeous boutique hotel that’s located just steps away from Diocletian’s Palace. I had a great stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone.

The Room

My room at Hotel Luxe with a sea-view balcony.
The beautiful bathroom at Hotel Luxe with an open window.

The rooms are luxurious and elegantly decorated. I loved that the bathrooms had open windows allowing you a view of the sea. Each room also has a built in speaker system where you can play music or listen to the radio.

Hotel Luxe provides a Handy smartphone for all guests.

Hotel Luxe also provides you with a Handy smartphone that you can take with you daily with unlimited calling and data. So helpful!

The View

The balcony with an incredible view of Split and the Adriatic Sea.

I had the most incredible view of  Split and the Adriatic Sea from my room. I loved sitting out on the balcony at sunset and watching the sky turn as hundreds of birds flew around.
