Hamilton Princess: Checking into the Pink Palace in Bermuda

Bermuda has been on my list of destinations for as long as I can remember. It’s a short 2.5-hour flight away from Toronto, making it the perfect long weekend getaway. When I came across The Hamilton Princess on Instagram and saw that its tagline was “The OG Millennial Pink Hotel”, I knew I had to stay there. I mean what self-respecting blogger can resist the endless photo ops of pink washed walls and lush green palms?

The Hamilton Princess is located in an idyllic harbour setting right in the capital of Bermuda. It’s within walking distance to the shops and restaurants of charming Hamilton. The grounds of the hotel are basically every photographer’s dream. It is impossible to walk by the perfect pink walls and not start snapping endless photos. The hotel is well aware of its status as an Instagram hotspot and even provides you with directions to the perfect photo ops.

Thank you Hamilton Princess!
Truly a perfect Instagram spot.

There are 3 restaurants on site as well as 2 pools, a very well equipped gym, and a spa. You could pretty much spend your entire time at the hotel and be very happy. We had a sunset meal at Marcus’ and it was absolutely delicious.

I stayed in a Fairmont Gold Harbour King room on the 7th floor of the hotel. The views were spectacular, especially at sunset. With the Fairmont Gold package you also get access to the exclusive Fairmont Gold lounge with complimentary breakfast and snacks throughout the day. We loved the afternoon tea selections – the raisin scones are to die for.

The Beach Club

Oh yeah, did I mention there’s also the Hamilton Princess Beach Club? It’s located on the south side of the island near some of the most famous Bermuda beaches. The pink Jitney runs throughout the day and shuttles hotel guests back and forth from the hotel to the beach club. I would definitely recommend making a day out of it, once you get to the beach club you won’t want to leave.

Every Thursday-Saturday you can enjoy a sunset meal by the beach.
