A Weekend Staycation at Four Seasons Hotel Toronto

As much as I love traveling, there’s nothing like spending a weekend in your hometown relaxing and rediscovering all your favourite things. Whenever I’m staying in hotels on my trips, I never feel like I have enough time to fully enjoy it. That’s why we had such a good time staying at the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto last weekend. We slept in every day, ordered breakfast in bed, hung out at the pool, and wandered around the surrounding neighbourhood of Yorkville. It was the perfect staycation.

We stayed in a Premier King Room with a great view of the city. The space was perfectly decorated and so comfortable that we didn’t even want to leave.

Most comfortable bed.

The best part of our stay was probably sleeping until 10am each day and waking up to room service breakfast. This is a luxury we rarely get to enjoy during our travels. Breakfast has always been my favourite meal of the day and the menu at Four Seasons comprised of all my favourites. We feasted on our spread of blueberry pancakes, avocado toast, coconut milk açai bowl, spinach frittata, almond croissants, fruit smoothies, and of course coffee.

More mornings like this please.

The Spa on the 9th floor is the perfect place to spend a lazy afternoon. We headed there after breakfast (okay more like brunch) and lounged on the terrace before going for a dip in the pool and jacuzzi.

In the evening we went out and strolled along the charming streets of Yorkville. There are tons of shops, cafes, and restaurants in this area. Even though we don’t live too far away, we rarely visit this part of the city and it was nice to wander around and play tourist. For dinner we headed to Planta, a delicious and fully plant-based restaurant just down the street from the Four Seasons.

It was the most relaxing weekend I’ve had in a long time. I’m already looking forward to returning here in the future and having that delicious room service breakfast again.
